2	Cindy	ECUPL has been offering outstanding and extremely valuable English-speaking summer school programmes on Chinese law, taught by a broad and experienced faculty of experts. This programme not only taught me about the law and politics, but it also submerged me in Chinese history and culture, including traditions, heritage, arts, traditional festivals, language, delicacies, and so on. ECUPL's strategic location in the vibrant metropolis of Shanghai gave even more value to my “already-best” experiences. Please accept my heartfelt appreciation for organising and hosting this summer school programme. The quality of the lecturers, as well as their professional interactions and discussion in class, has blown me away. Thank you to all of the teaching assistants and event organisers, who I cannot name individually, for organising everything to my satisfaction. 4	Petar	Dear professors, colleagues, dear friends, I am very glad that I had the opportunity to learn about Chinese legal sistem, culture and language. I am grateful to the ECUPL for organizing all the lectures, discussions, tour of the court and law firm, trips and sightseeings. This was a gripping experience. I very enjoyed listening to lectures from our hosts because they taught us lots about Chinese legal system and its importance. Also, I had opportunity to meet colleagues from other countries all around the world and to learn about their legal systems, cultures and educational systems. The part which I will remember the most is the hospitality and kindness of our hosts. 7	Alice	These past four weeks at the East China University of Political Science and Law have been unforgettable. From engaging and comprehensive lectures on the Chinese Legal system, legal history and Chinese culture to memorable field trips to neighbouring cities. A highlight for me was our trip to the High People’s Court of Shanghai. Our visit to the court was a truly enlightening experience, and is a memory which I will cherish. I cannot thank the staff of ECUPL enough for their kindness and support throughout the programme.The organisers, student volunteers and lecturers made my experience incredibly special.I would highly recommend this programme to other students, as it was a life changing experience that I will never forget.
8	Nathalie	I am incredibly grateful for my time at the ECUPL Summer School in Shanghai. It was an incredibly enriching experience to study at such a high-ranking Chinese university with people from all over the world. As a person who has never been outside of Europe, I would never have been able to grasp the Chinese legal and political culture unless being completely submerged into it, and this was the case in ECUPL. From classes of Chinese opera and culture through Chinese characters to classes such as the chinese legal system, I gained a comprehensive view of China and all its beauty. Furthermore, we had the opportunity to go on fieldtrips to Suzhou and Hangzhou and learn more about traditional Chinese cultures. On top of all that, I made lifelong friends from all over the world and memories I will never ever forget. Xie xie very much, dankjewel, ECUPL is amazing.

12	Lilian	An enriching and unique experience that I will never forget. That way is how I could describe my participation in the Summer School 2023 "Chinese Political & Legal Culture" offered by ECUPL. From the first day, I felt very excited and motivated to learn about all the courses offered by the program, from the history of the Chinese legal system to a cultural and artistic approach, to international business law and constitutional law, among others. Each class was developed so that we could understand more about Chinese law and culture, and each professor was attentive and ready to answer our questions. In addition to the theoretical sessions, we had the opportunity to visit the Shanghai Higher People's Court and a law firm where we could understand the day-to-day legal and judicial matters in Shanghai. The program not only included the academic part but was complemented with guided visits to the historic Changning campus, where we stayed, and to the modern ECUPL campus located in Songjiang. Likewise, with the coordinators and assistants, we had a tour of Suzhou and Hangzhou, where, in addition to learning about traditional Chinese culture, we could appreciate the architectural and decorative beauty. With much more to say about this experience, I sincerely thank all those who made the program possible and the coordinators and assistants who were kind and attentive to us.
